As u can see in the pic I am using bungee cords to hold the rods down while I am on the rd. they are a royal pain. Does anyone have any suggestions on a easier neater way?

Hey Buzz I sent you a pm
Get a 2 or 2.5" piece of flat aluminum mark it and drill holes for the rod holder uprights to slip through, drill horizontal hole in the farthest inboard and outboard upright. slide aluminum over rods attach quick pins in the holes drilled on farthest holders.........could even apply runatex tape to the underside to cushion and protect the rods...........
Or maybe get a black rubber bungee cord thats slightly shorter that the total width of holder........ remove S hooks from cord slide on outer most holders............
Then again I am sure someone sells something for a couple hundred bucks to do the same thing..............
I use an O-ring from work. A big rubber ban will work also.

I woulda thought the Bungi cord would work fine????
