Has anyone noticed the removal on the river channel markers on any other river system than Lake Eufaula? They have closed the Coast Guard office here, so therefore all river markers are being removed from Appalatchacola Fl. to Columbus Ga.

I have an issue with markers on my area of the lake. They were moved by the water during the high water and no longer mark the channel. It is a dangerous area and I called 7 different numbers and never got in touch with the people in charge with fixing them, I just got the run around.
From articles read and local Columbus news it looks like no one is in charge. They are going to just femobe them so they don't become a hazard. If you don't have gps with lake maps it will be tough. That lake is hazardous with markers. But it is full of slabs
