Carried the kids to the pond...

We live on a creek/farm pond, but you know how it is...if you want to go fishing, the grass is always greener farther from home. The weather was so pretty today though that I carried my kids and niece out in the boat for about 30 min this afternoon, and the crappie were biting like crazy! After we found them, they caught 17 just as fast as I could take them off and help get their hooks back in the water. We all had a blast.

Nice! Lots of times the closer the better! Were you guys using minnows?

You know this already I'm sure, but those are some of the best times of your life. I love to fish with a bunch of kids, especially when they are biting.

Used minnows, fished in the deepest part of the pond, 10-12 ft.
