Saturday-Suffolk-43 crappie
I have not been doing nearly as much fishing here lately as I am chasing a beautiful woman that I have met and am dating but I did manage to fish Saturday for 5 hours. I landed 43 crappie with the biggest at 14.5" and 1lb 12oz.

I had two others that went 1lb 5oz and 1lb 3oz and three or so that were just shy of 1lb. Most were around 11". I did well casting a black/pink BGBS (Bobby Garland Baby Shad) early, switched to Key Lime Pie BGBS mid morning and finished up with Blue Ice BGBS. Most were caught around 14' deep with some as deep as 20'. I only casted with no vertical fishing and no minnows were harmed. (I am nearly 3 years minnow free) Surface water temp was 51 degrees.
I have to show off my beautiful girlfriend, it's going to be extra hard this winter to leave her and head out on those cold winter mornings so if you don't see as many winter fishing reports from me as in past years you will know why.
