Fish finder help
Alrite guys, I'm looking for some help. I'm looking to buy new fish finders. I want one at console and replace the eagle 320 that is at the front now. What are y'all's opinions on the best combos. I have the ipilot with built in transducer. I'm gonna try to not blow the bank but it is close to Christmas and my birthday, so maybe momma will look the other way. I mainly spider rig year round if that makes any difference. I also mainly fish the same places but want to branch out. Thank y'all for any help!

Call Brian at BBG Marine. I have a 998 but if I was doing 2 I would go with 899 on console and 859 on front.

I also got my DF and accessories from Brian at BBG Marine. He is a local sponsor on here (Ga) and he beats the big box stores plus he ships quickly. I usually get my items in a day of two. The Lowrance Elilte 7 HDI is a lot of DF for the money, and the HBs are good too. None of the DI units will work with the US2 transducer by the way. It only works with regular 2D sonar. If your want DI or SI on the TM you will have to run a separate transducer mounted on the TM or elsewhere.
By the way, if you have an adaptor cable to hook up your eagle to the I-Pilot US2 cable, I would be interested in buying it when you get your new stuff. I have a small HB on the front and would like to replace with a larger color Eagle that I also have.

With these new units you will find that there are many to pick from. Down scan and side scan can be a great tool. I have my two Lowrance tied together so I can see the side scan at the front of the boat when spider rigging. I have really enjoyed using these units but am still learning all the things they can do. Take some time and look over some of the post on this forum http://www.crappie.com/crappie/side-down-imaging/
You will see what the units can do and maybe this info will help you.
