Dock Shooting 26 OCt
Managed to get out with Lowe175 yesterday and get schooled up on how to shoot a dock. He is absolutely amazing at getting a jig 10' further under any dock or boat on the water!! We managed to put 45 fish in the cooler and probably threw that plus back because they were short. Most of the docks were right off the channel with deep water and the amount of bait present was amazing. Lowe175 had some hand tied jigs that where out producing the plastics so that's what we stayed with for the afternoon. We got on the water around 1300 and called it quits about 1800. Water temps were 72.3 and we were using 1/16 jigs. We had a great time and fellowship while discussing all the different techniques involved with shooting docks. Lowe175 is the dock shooting master, thanks for a great day out on the water. Here is a pic of the cooler full of fish before I started to fillet them tonight. No real giants but a nice mess of fish for the fryer!! Thanks again Lowe175!

Looks like allot of good eating to me

friend of mine told me they were on the docks, he said someone wore them out on the dock me and you had thought about going to the other morning, I think he said they fished it same day me and you were on the water. I really need to spend time learning that technique. I have only done it a time or two with you, but I need lots of practice.

Nice report...... I need some pointers on shooting docks. Maybe you can school me know?

I enjoyed fishing with you Bob. Hop I helped you on your dock fishing. Maybe you can take me pulling cranks next summer.

Looks like you both had a great time.

Thanks Glen, give me a call and we'll give it a shot with the cranks!!
Lee looking forward to it, maybe we can give it a try!
Eric, it is going to just take practice and finding the docks!
