Henderson Rest Area Ramp Made The News
Channel 3 out of Lafayette did a bit on the ramp closure. The Mayor of Henderson was on there and I think he said the ramp would be open by the end of November. A fisherman suggested it would be a good time to get a back hoe and pull some of the junk that's just beyond the ramp up against the slab. The Mayor said you can't dredge in there as it might undermine the bridge. The pictures showed a lot of green on the sides of the canal leaving the ramp. I guess anyone wanting to see the piece could go to the channel 3 web site.
