I took this shot earlier to help a customer out with hook sizes. The sizes are as follows, from top to bottom: #1, #2, #4, #6, #8, #10. All of the hooks are Matzuo Red Sickle, except for the #10 and it is an Eagle Claw 575. The jig head weight is 1/64 on each jig head.

The matzuo hooks gave me problems in my do it molds I used a drimel and modified the eyelet to accommodate the hooks. wanted to experiment with a 1/32 head with a #2 hook, weight was close to 1/24 head so I new the depth they would swim at? wanted a bigger hook for the bigger fish in my area?
This was done with the Jacobs Baits mold. I had no problem at all putting the hooks in. To be honest, I have more of a problem getting the #4 hooks to fit in my 1/32 collarless Do-it Mold than I did doing this. I am liking this mold the more I play with it. IT has some quirks just like any other mold but with practice and use, I think it will be pretty good. As far as the pimple problem like on the 1/24 goes, it is still there but not near as bad as it was on the 1/24. I have found that I can either use snips or an Exact-O knife and take care of the problem with ease.Quote:

Good post BoBo. Using those big hooks on a small head just isn't needed.
I also like my Jacob molds, just not the handles. Got to work on that, I just don't think you should have to buy a set of handles that are better than what comes on the molds? :dono
