New tm or ff
Have a horrible dilemma! :biggrin In a couple months might be in the market for a new fish liar or troll motor. What would you do?
Currently have a 40# edge, with two batts wired in parallel. Switch some wires and I could easily go 24 volt. It's good tm, until the breeze picks up.
Or
A new fish finder. Have humminbird 141c and a 525. Is the side imaging what it's made up to be? Had a handheld GPS, loved it. It's now on the bottom of the lake, at least my spots are safe! If I go with the ff it would have GPS.
I fish for both crappie and bass. Boat is a g3 1756, w/ a 50 hp.
Are their any new products coming out that I should wait for? Maybe find a better deal on existing stuff?
Thanks in advance

Get a trolling motor. No such thing as a fish finder.

If you can afford it get an iPilot and a side imaging unit. You will not regret either. Just budget your money and time in getting them. Nothing beats a good GPS/depth sonar and when they find fish you can call them a fish finder. I do.

If you spider rig or long line at all I would save my penny's and get a Terrova trolling motor. Best investment I ever made for crappie fishing. I would give up both finders a keep my terrova.

I agree with Cray. I would quit fishing now if I had to give up my Terrova. Giving up my electronics would hurt but not keep me from fishing the way I do mostly, trolling.

I opened this thread just to see what "tm" and "ff" stood for.

:hesaid Terrova, hands down

Terrova. End of thread.
:twocents
PS. Get more tm than you think you need. If you don't, you will just be back in the market for a bigger one next year.
