Crappie USA Classic Experience

Well we are back now from the Crappie USA Classic and I will have to say it was a lot of fun and we enjoyed the experience. Me and my partner did not place but we did better than quite a few who did and we were way on down the list. The lake we fished was lake Cumberland Ky, and it was very intimidating to us as we found the weather during pre fishing bad and then the lake conditions very tough for us once we got to fish the tourney days. There were some boats who caught fish though, so we just needed to do something we werent doing or fishing an area different than what we did. If you have never taken part of the Crappie USA tournaments, you should give it a try in 2015. It was a lot of fun meeting folks who are friends on crappie.com for the first time.

Hey bud it is total different experience fishing one of the big tournaments. I will say it is a lot of pressure but fun also!! I fished the Crappie Masters on Reelfoot earlier this year and we finished 46 out 55 boats. It was not were I wanted to end up but I was glad that we fished it. I learned a lot for the tournament and all the folks were super nice! I can't say enough about the Pros and how they are willing to help anyone. Glad yall got out there and fished it.

Those tournaments are fun!! The weather is another obstacle to overcome. I rarely fish a tournament that the weather is good. We were blessed with a chance to fish the Crappie Masters Championship last month and the experience was the same. Great time and great people. I was surprised but shouldn't be just for the mere fact that crappie fishermen are just plain good people!!

Yea, my C USA Partner and I are already looking forward to fishing tournaments next year. We have a lot to learn and we want to go soak up any knowledge we can get or at sometime in life, give to others. I been gathering crappie knowledge for a long time and now it's time to be gathering some fish. :Rofl Just hope we can during one of the tournaments. We plan to fish Weiss in February. Hope to see and meet more of you guys there. Really enjoyed the classic, meeting you guys, and the dinner was awesome as well.
