Since moving to the Panhandle over a year ago, it has been a rough go for me. However, I think I finally found a lake off the Choctawhatchee River that is holding some nice fish. Can't wait to go again this weekend!Attachment 176887

Nice catch. What was the method of getting them?
Vertical jigging timber in 13-14 feet of water.
Great job!!!
Nice, tailgate full :cheers2
Now that is fun!!!
Nice fishes!!!
Glad you are finding some fish Shane. I know how hard it can be when you relocate. I spent 65 years in central Florida and relocated to Georgia. Talk about change!!!! I hope to go to Florida tomorrow and do some fishing there. Maybe Monroe a couple of times. Keep at it I know if they are there you will get them.
Thanks, man! I hope you get em on Monroe. My buddy, my son and I really caught em well there about 3 years ago. We were fishing about 12 foot of line doing 1 to 1.2 mph and were using paddle tails of almost any color. Just about every trip we caught a 3-man limit and over half the fish were 13 inches or better. It was incredible! Made the trip from Gainesville every weekend worth it. Hope they bite like that for you if you get a chance to go...
