Hello everyone!! Glad that the shindig went well for everyone.....one request...could i get some feedback on the jigs I sent....just wanting to know if they work and if so what colors work best...hoping to be down in the spring and just wanting to know what to bring...lol...best to all of you!!!
I am not sure what jigs you are talking about. Can you give us a jig company and name of jig. This year was kind of different at camp for a lot of different reasons. I gave some rigs to the giveaway also and no one has said anything to me about them. Kind of quite around here for some reason that I don't understand. Hope some one can give you some feedback! The fishing is slow right now also!
Good point ifish....i sent down a few packs of jig bodies made by draper plastics....it's no big deal...just thought if someone had a chance to use them would like to hear how they worked
Could it be possible that those whom received these jigs, and other such prizes, may not have used them while at the Shindig ??
I've yet to attend any of these Shindig events, so I don't know how the proceedings go ... but, back when I was running similar events in Tenn, we wouldn't award prizes until after the fishing part of the event was over. And even though it was stressed to the participants to contact the donating sponsors & thank them for their donations, few complied. So few, in fact, that I wrote up a form letter thank you note and emailed it to all the sponsors, myself. Even then, I only got a reply back from a few of the dozen or so sponsors that donated.

I won a baggy full of jigs and trolling rigs and other items. I will look and see if any of the draper jigs are in it if so I will make it a point to use them this weekend. Even if I didn't win them, Thanks for donating them!
thanks everyone.....wasn't looking for a thank you....terry already did that....i just love to fish down there but haven't had the chance in the last couple years....i try to bring what works up here but ya never know if the lakes are close or worlds apart on what works and what doesn't....good luck to all of you this fall and be safe!!
