My good friend and I went out for some specks this morning. Fish weren't biting, so we decided to explore the other side of the lake. Very windy over there, headed back. Made it to within 2 1/2 miles and ran out of gas. Decided to drift and fish back with the wind. Wind slowed down. Thankfully trolling motor battery made it all the way in.
Glad you made it back without padling.
Would have been nice to fish our way back, the wind was blowing us straight down a cut I like to fish, but no one was available to pick my son up from school. Had to hurry to see if the trolling motor would make it.
