Toledo Bend Bite ???
I am bringing my wife and little man to the the bend this weekend which is a very rare occasion for them. I would like to get them on some fish but I have not been up there since March so I don't know what really going on. Has anyone heard how deep people are catching right now and what colors they are using ??? I was also curious to know if anyone had any suggestions at to which areas of the lake ( san miguel , la nana, etc...) had any good community brushpiles that are marked ? I know most people mark them with GPS but I have seen them marked before. Any info would be greatly appreciated fellas. Hopefully I can get momma and little mans hand a little slimy !!!

I also have not been in quite a while but have heard the sacs are still 20' - 25' deep. They should be moving up on the grass and in the creeks soon following the bait fish. If you Google "Toledo Bend Artificial Reef Locations" you will get a link that gives the GPS locations of the reefs put out by the Sabine River Authority In addition, there are always people fishing the main bridge and all the other bridges on the creeks. Good luck.
