Wondering what condition Lake Secession is in after the rain?? I know y'all said in the past it can get muddy quickly so just curious as to how much rain fell up there and what you think the lake will look like Saturday?
Don't matter, I'm coming anyway, hotel done paid for and I'm bringing a secret weapon. (don't tell anybody) :biggrin

Greenwood won't be in a couple of days!! other words Saluda is Muddy!! Ray the lake may get muddy on the upper end but you shouldn't have any trouble finding stained water or they may even be biting in the muddy water. I plan to go Friday and see how the bite is or find where they are or hope to find where they are :biggrin
Ronnie, I am planning on putting in around 1pm Friday. Keith(Burdawg) said he would be there also. Might give you shout when we get on the water. My map shows and "Abbeville Ramp) on 184 on the Iva side of the lake. That the one we are using? Did I understand y'all to say you could get biscuits at the One Stop Saturday morning. I got a feeling the hotel won't have food out when we leave.

Ray that is the only open ramp on the lake in the fall-winter :ThumbsUp You will be able to eat in town. Someone said there is a great restaurant right at the Framers Market and there is a few others in town. No problem finding food in Iva. I am going to the lake tomorrow, give me a call when you get to the ramp and hope the phone works. At some places on the lake I lose signal but leave a message and it will get to me when I hit the right spot :)

the lake had a dark stain to it no mud look the farther down the less stained it is fish was biting good
