Safe travels My Friend
I didn't get to fish with Kenny this trip due to the weather and demands at the shop. We did get to have some long conversations and a nice meal at Majestic Steak House in Draffenville on Monday afternoon as we were watching the western sky for the storms that were blowing in.
Here's wishing Kenny travel mercies and clear sailing as he heads down to Hattiesburg and parts south.I hope all is well with that new Grandbaby and you get to spend quality time with your family.
I tried to get him to stop at Caruthersville, MO at Grizzly Jig on his way down but I think he was afraid he might burn a bunch of his travel budget. Here's betting he stops there on the way back north.
You guys at the Mississippi Get Together had better watch out. Kenny is newly stocked up with custom crankbaits and knows how to use them.
Here's a prayer for safe passage My Friend and to all who are traveling.
I did take Kenny on a quick tour of the showroom at Defew's Customs while we were in Draffenville. With all the custom choppers and cars, he was immediately drawn to this piece.

I'll second that, enjoyed every minute I spent with him at the shin dig.

Sorry I failed to put Kenny's screen name in my post. To those who have never had the pleasure of meeting him, this is the one and only Chaunc from PA. He gets riled at me for saying it in his presence but the man is the best fisherman I have ever had the pleasure of sharing a boat with.

The first time I met him was on Fri. night. He is the nicest guy you will ever meet. Be safe CHAUNC.

What a smile. That is one precious baby. I hope you all get out soon. Being born at just over 2 pounds is a miracle. A keeper for sure. Get the Net!! It was good talking with you Kenny.
