Does anyone know of a good shop or indivual to re-wire a foot pedal for a Minn-Kota trolling motor for a reasonable price? I live north near Liberty but will travel.

If you plan on fishing Lake of the Ozarks anytime soon, there's a place about 3/4 mile west of highway 5 & 7 on Highway 7 that's a authorized minn kota service. Reliable is there name, there number is 573-873-3939, brought mine to them and was fixed and out the door in less than thirty minutes ( the guts to my head exploded ) and they replaced the lower part of head, and the price wasn't bad either.
There used to be a guy right up close to Smithville Lake who did good work. Not sure if he is still there, but if you look for repair locators on either Minn Kota or Motor Guide, you might find him....most of those guys work on all models, even if they are only listed as repairman for one company....good luck
place called jerry's in kcmo
I think Jerry moved to the Lake or maybe Stockton, I'm not sure. But I heard he is no longer in business here in K.C. He was really good and did me right when I brought him my MinnKota about a year ago...
All the info i have on the guy at smithville lake is Jack Trolling Motor repair 816-532-8350 it has been a few years since i was there.
Jerrys Trolling Motor Repair is back up and running and it's being run by the original " Jerry" who started it...the other guy decided to leave or retire. Lee Maxwell had some work done a couple of months ago. Good luck
Jerry's Trolling Motor. Make sure you call before you go, depending on hours you may have to drop off item next door.
