Crappie and brim

Lake Palourde fishing going Saturday and don't know the area very good.
Any help would be appreciated

I used to fish that area all the time but the last 4-5 years been fishing Henderson......for me, after Hurricane Gustav the fishing declined considerably where you want to go.....read in the paper that a recent bass tourney was won on spinnerbaits in the area north of Lake Palourde....find moving water....if I was going I would first try along Belle River.....also, try Simon pass, Grassy lake, 4 mile bayou, Bayou Cheramie and Bayou Sherman...stay near the deeper water to find fish....I've been thinking about a trip there soon.....I miss the beauty of the area....I usually launch at Doirons in Stephensville or Attakapas Landing on South Lake Verrett.....good luck....
