Day off yesterday and,,,
Just as the weather man predicted, it was chilly, breezy, and partly sunny. When I woke up, my wife was already at work, day 11 in a row for her and still 3 days to go. She has been fighting off a cold for the last couple days and I know this long 14 day work stretch is starting to wear her down, so as I began loading up for a day of fishing, I just set my stuff down, looked around me, and thought of a few more important things than fishing that could be done to make her day a little better. I put away my fishing gear and jumped right into the chores. Mowed the lawn, did the dishes, washed, folded, and put away all the laundry, moved a big swing set/fort slide from the side of the house, swept all the hardwood floors, and just sort of tidied up everything. When I was all done if felt almost as good as a day on the water. Almost!:fingerdance

Now you can fish the rest of the week with a clear conscience!

Nice job Frank. This is the antithesis of an unfortunate post I read on another web site a year or so ago. A guy was plotting on how to get out of his grandson's 2nd birthday party so that he could go play with his new boat. Glad to see we have better folks than that on CDC!
