I have a 2 day meeting in Jackson

Wednesday & Thursday & will need a good place to eat Wednesday night. Anyone got any good suggestions & wanna come have supper with me & the other fellow that's coming with me ?

I don't have any time during the week to go out, but there are a ton of great restaurants in the area. Tico's steak house on county line road is as good as they come for high end dinners. There is a seafood/fish house at Pearl that is great. It's on the road leading to Bass Pro "sorry can't remember the name" but it's just in front of the cinema. Be carefull cause there are some unsafe areas between these two spots.

My last visit to Jackson was about like it is around here. They don't want my business because of some laws, so we don't eat out.
We had to go to the 4th motel to find a room.

Tico's gets my vote. Pricey, but none better!!!!! Ate the best Fillet Mignon I've ever eaten there a few years back.

Ate at Georgia Blue several times, and it was good......they have two locations.

Feesherman is right in saying there are "spots" in and around Jackson. We stayed in Brentwood last March. Looked fine on the face but several vehicles were broken into. They took our government plates. We will be staying in Pearl by BPS this year.

Georgia Blue in Madison and Flowood, the shrimp & grits is very good. Crabs Seafood Shack in Ridgeland is very good also as is Sal and Phil's (seafood) also in Ridgeland. No crime concerns at any of these.

Major where was it you, Flanger and myself went, that was a good lunch spot?
