Football and Fishing

Bryant High School is 2-0-1 so far this season. My boy, #75, 6'6" and scaring the heck out of 3 bills, is off to a great start this year. Went to LR Central Friday night and came away with a win. Got home that night at 10:30 p.m. He showed up at 11:30 p.m. and we both got up at 4:00 a.m. the next morning, hooked the boat up and headed to his fishing partner's house. Grabbed him and off to Tar Camp on the Arkansas River we went.

It was their first high school fishing tournament. It was Bryant and Watson Chapel. My boy and his friend placed third with 8 pounds 12 ounces. It is very hard to sit in the boat for 8 hours and not even pick up a pole.

Very proud of his accomplishments. Go Hornets!

Sounds like he's got it going on this Fall. Ain't life nice when things kinda "line up" and good things start "happening" like that? Football teams winning, kid looks good playing, fish are biting, temps are cooling off, hunting season is coming.....I love Fall.
