Hummingbird 798C SI DI Problem

I have the hummingbird 798, down imaging and side imaging unit. IT's about 2-3 years old. Saturday while fishing, I moved from one spot to another. Upon reaching my next spot, I noticed the screen had locked up and appeared slightly fuzzy as if it was receiving static of some sort. None of the buttons would work. So I disconnected it from the mounting bracket/plug, waited a few minutes and plugged it back in. Now, it won't even turn on. Anybody else have any problem like this before? I haven't had time to go in and try to trouble shoot my wiring yet. Gonna try that this week. Just thought the screen freezing up and appearing to fuzzy was odd.

The screen freezing up could be a sign of a power related problem toosieroll. Easiest way to tell if you have a power problem would be to cross-test your 798 unit with someone else. If that is not possible you need to start looking at those electrical connections.
