Keystone 9/14
Fished Keystone Sunday with a friend, and between the two of us, we managed 5 crappie that were big enough to keep. Fished under the hwy 51 bridge about 12 ft deep (with minnows-you know me) water temp was 74 I think. High point of the day was the 16 inch striper I caught trolling a chart crankbait! Biggest striper I have caught from Keystone.

Fished Keystone on Sat with a buddy from Sand Springs. Fished for approx 10 hours, caught a lot of small fish, and only 2 that were keepers. All fish were shallow, less then 4' deep. Fished a couple coves that had stumps in 3 foot of water and we were able to pull several off of them but nothing over 8". Main bait was a Orange/Yellow Slim Stick from Bonehead Tackle and a 1/16 ounce jig head. It was a good time catching up with a old friend and wetting a hook. Enjoyed a lunch at Pier 51 Marina and met some very nice folks that were also out trying to fill the livewells.

SC-yeah, we caught a ton of really small crappie too! Keystone should be good next year judging by all tahe small fish being caught this year-unless we have another super cold winter. Glad to hear that Pier 51 is doing good. Haven't been there since late spring.
Holler at me next time you hit Keystone-would love to fish with you again! :)
