Cane Creek 9/6/14
Went to Cane creek this morning with the Raccon and his girl friend. We long lined jigs till almost noon Managed 64 fish with 10 or so keepers that were released.
My phone/camera stayed on the charger this morning so no pictures, nothing long enough to write home about
It was great to get back on the water after a few hard weeks at work.

Sam, I think in another 4-5 months there will be a lot of larger fish there. I think the biggest we got was 10.5 inch. I was running mostly 1/16 oz jigs and the larger fish came on the 1/8 oz jigs. Just too lazy to change them all over.
The last couple weeks have been hectic for me too. I'm hoping to hire some one to lessen my load, then I can fish more. Fall is right around the corner.

Garady, it was so good to be out there where stuff happens. Thanks for your hospitality.
At least we got to smell like fish at the end of the day!!
I think the fish kill at cane creek is quite apparent.
Give that place a year and then we will see.
BTW it was 70 plus with 10 that were set free.
