Slab Bite Slower But Stiill Some Takers/Pics

My spot slowed down today both in numbers and size. We landed 49 with most between 10-15. Some nice ones were landed but not the numbers I had been getting. Water temp still 75. Another nice White Perch landed. All but 8 white perch were released.

Another bunch of nice fish. Couple of them starting to look like me in the middle:Rofl. Bee, how do those white perch taste compared to crappie?

They are much firmer. They do have a layer of fat that can make them a little fishy tasting if not removed. They make a real good chowda fish. I like to smoke them first then put them in the pot.

I wish my spots could slow down where I could only catch 49 of that size. Beautiful crappie, curious, were these fish caught up north around grass?
