Are bridges at night any good this time of year?
Some are what lake are you fishing I might can help you out.
Well that's a good question and I had been wondering what has happened to all the guys I use to see fishing under the bridges in the Summer on the big G.NOt so long ago you could count on 2 or 3 under most of the larger bridges. There use to be lots of em and they always caught a good bunch of fish with a lot of stripe thrown in with the Crappie. They went from the bright lights to the green glow lights with better results .But the last 2 years I haven't seen or heard much night bridge fishing. I get under a bridge when I go by 3 or 4 am and there aren't any now. Maybe they all caught a limit before I get there and left already!! Possible its being done but they are using stealth lights and being quiet about it sort of like the long liners that find em (grin)
I don't fish the big G but I hear the cooler water temperature have made the night bite tuff.
Talking about Guntersville, any help would be appreciated! I enjoy the laziness of tying up under a bridge and having a few minnows out because its more suitable for my 73 year old dad to go and the night temps wouldnt be as bad on him as well. Thanks for the replies!
Is it still too early?
