Anyone been fishing below dam lately? We are coming over for a few days and hope to catch a few fish and don't really care the species. Any shad and/or skipjack that can be caught in the area? Looks like they are generating mid-day and hope maybe that gets the catfish going a little. Thanks for reading.

Fished it yesterday and caught a few large mouth.....and nothing else. I was not fishing up by the catwalk so I don't know how the fishing was there.

when referring to below the dam or above the dam. Which side of the lake is "below the dam" ?

The West side of the Dam is below the Dam.
