I will measure mine and let you know
Was looking at some last night, think I am gonna put flush mounts on my gunnels, stainless with caps for when not in use.
9 inches long and 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 inside diameter seems to been pretty common.
Big C....I just measured the ones that blacklandlure built for me......The tubes are 8 in tall and layed back at a slight angle...the tube ID is 1 and 5/8 , the pvc linings are OD 1 and 5/8 with a ID of 1 and 3/8. He also at the bottom of each tube on the back side drilled a hole to drain any water that might get in them The tubes are placed on the base plate with 2 in spaceing between them. Attachment 171568
Thanks G,I'm still trying to decide where to mount them.Decisions, decisions
I put mine behind the drivers seat and behind the passenger seat.....mount of the way that way. I have some on the side and front of my console but dont use them because if a jig or a crankbait came in hooked from the pole while on plane it would hit me in the face.....so I just use them for a place to keep the net and pliers etc.
They also work good just to stick a pole in while unhooking a fish or while re rigging
Man I would get excited over a big one and go to hopping around in the boat and break my neck on those thangs hehehe
