Does anyone have ay reports on Bisteneau since they started pulling it down a few weeks ago?
Not the main lake but Dorcheat...been pretty good the past couple weeks but just got word about an hour ago that they have slowed way down. I was thinking that if they shut down at dorcheat the may have moved lower into the main lake due to the falling water.... Ill find out Saturday morning.:scratchhead
Thanks Progator. Are they in the brush tops?
Yeah any structure adjacent to 6-9 ft of water. 2 weeks ago I found them in cypress roots, last weekend was a logjam full of em in 7 ft, the water is so low now Im sure they will be tough to find. I spend 3/4 of the day lookin for em and by the time I find em its getting hot and my shiners are floatin. Im going to put in at the Port and work my way up this time....
I heard they were catching pretty good a while back on straight jig under a cork about 2ft.
fish around diamond t..in the curves,,,now its about 11 or 12 ft...for the minnows freeze you a 2 liter bottle of water and put it in with the minnows..that will sure keep them alive longer
Will give it a try! Maybe we'll run into each other out there.
Hows the salvinia around Diamond-t? The port looked ok a week ago, Im assuming its all moving south toward the dam...but how far?
