I wanted to try my luck with crappie on the NW River. Well, not much going on for me. I was able to pick up about 10 total, all coming in 3 FOW on a junebug/chartreuse crappie slider. All fish were identical 10". However, I did catch a ton of bluegill. I didn't get any bulls, but they ranged from 7 - 7 1/2".
You found them. Scott and I have hit them for three months now. I know them gills arn't crappie but they sure can put in a good fight. We'll be back out in force after Labor day. Hope we can hook up. Oh thanks for the report and glad you got some.
