Some co-workers and I hit Crooked Creek up for some afternoon wade fishing after a long hard day of work at the Norfork Hatchery helping the Trout Program mark brown trout. We didn't see any records but we still had a good afternoon. We also caught several ozark bass. Man I love that creek fishing!

Haven't heard anything about Crooked Creek in a long time, I remember a Jerry McGinnis "Fishing Hole" episode in the 70s and they virtually slayed the small mouth. Your post brought back some good old memories!
Nice. I just ordered a Jackson fishing kayak for this type of fishing and Crooked Creek will be one of my first trips.
