Depends on lake and fishing technique, but most the lakes I fish, slow fall at the right level turns em on and bunches em up
May just be my imagination but seems I have always done better on a slow fall. And like Mo, on Oxbows there seems to be a perfect level and on a slow fall when it gets close to that point the fish seem to really turn on.
Same as above. Slow fall or stable second.
Steady rise will push fish into new cover shallow or scatter them a ton. In the spring a rise, as long as it's not muddy as all get out can concentrate the fish getting into the newly flooded terrain
I'll take slow rise in late March early April any day.
I love a 3 to 4 inch rise in the spring when I'm wade fishing. When's its rising In the spring I believe crappie love exploring
I like all 3. 1 slow rise in spring so they will come in and nest and lay. 2 slow fall in the fall of year so they migrate and bunch up. 3 stable so I won't run over any stumps that disappear and appear on a rise and fall from week to week I like to run the same path if I can help it.
