I was wondering if anyone use's wobble head jigs for anything? I have some hair tied and plain. I was thinking of a way to use them for white perch maybe with worms and bouncing them off the bottom. Has anyone tried long lining with them?:dono

I have some that I tried longlining with, hard to use them at any speed. They are really made to work the bottoms and drops. They worked good when the bass were spawning. I have never tried them with plastics, should work good with a trick worm and some of the new floating baits. Had no luck crappie fishing them.

Yes I have tied some and long lined with them and caught fish, but they work better for jiging, and under a cork. The jigs don't wobble very much when long lining, I think they were made for a slow fall fishing, but they do work. Tommy Vaughan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I figured someone on here knew something about them. I have some small and some as large as buck tails. I don't know what I'll do with them but I know I may drop some in a brush pile and see what hit's them. I bought these and some other fishing supplies from a lady who's husband passed away and she sold everything to my brother in-law an me. I have about 20 different molds and had 2 melting pots. Lot's of tying equipment. I may even melt them down and reuse the lead I don't know yet what I'll do. Thanks for the information on your use's. I'll let you know if I catch that 3 lbs crappie on one.:biggrin I know the doughnut will work well.:Rofl
