Ammo

Can't find .22 lr anywhere in my area. Will be in the gatlinburg area this week. Are you guys able to find 22lr? What is required to buy it? In Illinois we have a FOID card issued by the State Police that we have to present.

It has loosened up here is SC. At the Academy Sports store opening last week, they were limited purchases to 500 rds. per customer, but they had plenty and it is showing up in gun shows and stores.

22lr shells are like slabs on reelfoot lake... hard to find at least in nw tenn. unless you want to pay triple the price...

Are you looking for some plinking ammo or some good 22 ammo?

If you are looking online, unless someone has a huge quantity, they will not post it for sale. Most dealers have it in stock to purchase in store. No one wants another run on it by the hoarders and those trying to double their money.

You don't need any special ID to purchase ammo in TN, just money as long as you are 18 years of age.
