well, we went to black bayou Benton and had a good time. only managed to catch 14. had a bunch, like 8 or 9 that got off at the boat. guess I need to replace my hooks. LOL my buddy steve hooked a huge catfish. about 8-10 pounds. he fought him for about 5 minutes and he broke us off right at the boat. I know yall yahoos like pics, so I took a pic of the lot of them and also the biggest one.
it was good to meet RMGeorge and his son chris. I will let him chime in and give his report. yall have a good weekend and hope yall get to feel a tug on your line.

While Doc's boat was hovering over a small school of crappie Chris and I were about one hundred yards away trying unsuccessfully to find even one. All we managed was two bass and a catfish that managed to get off the line just as I was swinging him over into the boat. We still had a good time meeting Doc and Steve and learning a little more about crappie fishing. Any time we can do that and visit a new lake it's a good day!
