I put some out about a month ago and we were catching off them in a few weeks. I have found out that location is the key. I am putting my piles on the inside of bends in eddy areas and the back side of oxbow islands. When the bayou rises the fish normally go to the areas to escape current. My next brush pile project is to place some on points and staging areas where they spawn. I got most my info on the structure posts on the forum.
i would totally agree. location is the biggest factor. i have put out dozens and some attract fish very quicikly and others never do. sometimes it is just a trial and error thing. but the more knowledge you can have going in, the more chance of success. if you will send me the gps coords of your brush piles i will do some homework and let ya know what i find out. LOLOL
doc :)
Thanks men
