I'm looking for batteries for my boat, not necessarily cheap. I think Lithium Ion are a bit to pricy. Wal-mart batteries don't hold up long.

I've had real good luck with the Wal-Mart batteries, I use mine all the time, fish almost every week, and I never let them set discharged for any length of time, not even partially discharged. I get in from fishing I put the charger on them first thing. I can't say for sure but I think that's the life of about any battery. I don't think I've ever gotten less than 3-4 years out of a set of 3 series 29's. I know I've gotten 5yrs before. As a matter of fact I think they have a 3yr free replacement and I know I've never had to use it on my boat batteries. Just my experience, I'm using Exide 31's now because a friend of mine gets them for me for free.
Deka makes batteries for orielys great great batteries I use mine a lot. in my old boat I got 5-6 years out of them when I got my current boat it came with interstates I got a year with them I bought another set of Interstate Batteries got a year and a half. I went back to dekas and haven't looked back.
If you got the room get you a couple of Golf Cart batteries.
Interstate Batteries are hard to beat
Go here and get a refubished gel battery around $40. I have been using one for over two years now. Can troll all day and never goes dead. Just went and got another one to put at the front of the boat for the trolling motor and used the old one to run lights, livewell pumps and DF. When the cranking battery goes I will replace it with another gel. I will never pay over $100 for a battery again!

I just spoke to Battery Service and Supply. Thirty Five dollars with the old battery. I will head down there next week. Those batteries are typically over 300.00. I'll let y'all know how they work.
