Reelfoot Help
Looking to head over to Reelfoot on Saturday morning and have a few questions. I haven't' been over there in years and really do not have an idea of goods spots to fish, but I have recently been able to start fishing a little more due to the kids getting older. With having 5 boys its been a bit of a challenge to get away to hunt or fish the past 10-15 years!!!
Anyway, not looking for hot spot info, but more just what area will be the easiest for me to launch my boat (possibly by myself if I can't talk anyone in to going with me), and close to a bait shop. I would prefer to put in on the south end of the lake somewhere, but anything will be fine. I would love to catch a mess of fish but just getting out on the water for a few hours these days is good enough for me.
Any advice you guys can give would be appreciated. Thanks

Bo's Landing has minnows as well as the bait shop at the 4 way stop in Tiptonville. If you come from Tiptonville, the first ramp is Keystone park and the next will be Whites Landing. Whites is right on the highway. You can continue down the road maybe 3/4 mile and Bo's will be on your left. All 3 are good ramps. Whites ramp is the newest.
Can't help you on the fish. I've been doing some much needed maintenance on my boat trailer and adding a few goodies to the boat so I have not been fishing in 3 weeks. If I were headed over there, I'd start out fishing the 6-10 foot range over 10-12 fow. With the cooler weather, I would move shallower if I didn't get on them. As with most summer bites, it may happen early.
Hope you post some pictures of the fish you catch.

Thanks a ton Arkcrappie. Sounds like there is plenty of access on the end I will be coming in from. I plan on getting over there early so maybe I can pick up a fish or two. But if not, a morning on the water is good enough for me!!
