245/70/17 is wider and shorter than a 265/75/17, yes they will work as long as the offset is rite where they wont rub.
Both are. 70r 17s
Should be fine, 245 is just not as tall. Rims need a little offset so they wont rub in the front.
265 will make 654 rotations per mile and 245 will make 681.
The off set as Rees calls it....the back spaceing needs to be to factory specs to have your front end geometry right to keep from prematurely wearing out front end components.
They will work,your truck will just look like a sissy truck.
