Hey dont let the jigs touch that insulation,,it'll make the fishs mouth itch:Rofl.Nice setup Grady, you have to get the long rods up out of the way for sure.Just be carefull and dont let the eyes hang up on the hole when you are getting the down.(Yes I have some eyes missing on some of my stuff) Thats why Im saying this.
Sam, the 12'rs are hard to slide in, you have to put up pressure on the rod as they slide in.
Still far safer up there than in the corner or laying on the garage floor
The holders look good but that insulation doesnt. I'm itching already. :)
Nice set up, I've used 1 inch PVC pipe for years, affective, but not a pretty as yours.
The insulation is on the list to be covered with sheet rock, a couple things come first, like rewiring the phone lines, the Tv cables, adding more sound proofing. Other than that its at the top of the list.
I hate it, but we've only been it the house for 24 years so I had a couple honey do's before the basement got near the top of the list, remodeled the master bath, the guest bath, the kitchen, hardwood floors thru out, new larger deck and running my own business
mine are laying on carpet with no holes just turn the eyes up and pull
Marine, is the carpet hanging from the ceiling? Or on the floor? With my 3 dogs the floor is NOT an option here
Have you thought about maybe slotting one side of the hole so you don't have to feed the eyes thru?Attachment 168130
Nice! I use pvc also, little short pieces at the handle and the rod in a cup holder hook.
