The porch is done!!!

Well this morning I put on the final coat of the floor paint. It is some of that gritty stuff that is anti-slip and is suppose to wear very well. It's a pain to put on though, but if it lives up to it claims it will have been worth it. I only have to touch up a couple of places where I splashed some of that stuff on the wall and rails. That should take about 1/2 hour. So here is what it looks like, now to get the rest of the house to match.

Looks good Gene! I need to do some work on my porch as well, but need to find a belt sander first. Getting too hot these days to do much work outside for long, but I better get it done before fishing 'season' starts up again. :)

Very nice Gene. The gray with white trim looks excellent, and the railing is first class. A classic look right there. Feels good to stand back and look at it doesn't it? Thanks for posting, enjoyed it.

That is what is missing from all these new subdivisions! A nice front porch to sit on and wave to your neighbors. Mine is so small it is not really a porch. I have a screen porch on the back, but it would be nice to sit out front.
You did a great job, makes you want to pull up a rocker and a glass of ice tea(or somethng cold) and visit a while.

That's nice PPG. But the pink is ugly. Who pick that color?

How long does the floor paint last?

I love a porch. I have an Acadian style home with a porch across the from and across the back. That is nice work you did.

SeaRay, there are 2 rockers and a small swing set that go on the porch. I have to wait 5 days, according to the instruction on the floor paint, before I can put them back on.

JR, that pink isn't ugly, the rose color is UGLY. Well it used to not be that color but that's what it faded into. I hope to get it covered soon.
