Let's help Ferdi buy a new camera!

Anyone monitoring this forum has probably been there more than once! I'm still very happy with Panasonic's point & shoot, 14mpx, 8X, Lumix DMC-FH20. It's far from state-of-the-art technology, but anything better would be wasted on me. A couple of interesting shots posted in this thread shows the image quality. When you can find it on eBay, it goes for under $100. There are lots of newer models by numerous manufacturers that go for under $100. It's hard to make a mistake. Anyone have a favorite make/model to recommend?

Hey Corker, I appreciate the information you are trying to drum up, and the information about the camera you use. You camera and the one that just went "KAPUT" are very close. My old camera was a Kodak Easy Share C330 and I was happy with it but had to take the whole kit with me when I went anywhere. It would have been better with just a simple charging system. They have did away with that camera though. I will keep searching but they have changed them and added so many features and it gets confusing with all the added features and symbols. I haven't been doing any fishing lately because of health but when I do then I will want to get a camera and be able to post pictures again. Thanks again for your help gathering information. Ferdi

I got a camera bundle, now to learn the operation and posting, then hopefully get out and find something to take pictures of. Ferdi

We have plenty of space....not a problem on this site

I would reccomend Getting a Go Pro Hero 3 White for only $200. You can do so much more with it than other cameras and still have incredible quality.
