Caught a few on Houston today. The winds were a tad high but manageable to do some trolling over structure. I used all my battery power in 3 hours trolling in that dang wind. But I got to catch about 20 and kept 14 witht he biggest being 12 inches and the rest over 10.5 inches. Caught in 15-20 ft of water 8-12 ft down. Black/Char. They were hitting "up" and my line would go slack on most catches. A good day overall.

one or two keepers. Have no idea what that is about. All I know is it is not just me. Thinking I might give Somerville a try real soon.

I'm going to Somerville today and will fish all through the night and tomorrow with my son. We are on an all out crappie hunt tonight! We are going to try deep first around river edges and drop offs and then we will try some wind blown shores where the bait fish are blown into the shore and crappie feed. Of course they have lots of trees and stumps and not to mention the tires at Big Creek Marina. Will post with outcome tomorrow.
