I've been fishing exclusively saltwater for the last year trying to learn how to catch them and have had some success. With a lot of places to fish for sacs near Lafayette, I'm going to put more of a focus on the freshwater side of things. If you guys have any suggestions on places to go in the kayak, please help me learn!

That would be very much appreciated! I'm planning on going to Lake Martin tomorrow and trying my luck for a bit. I'll report back if I make any headway into this adventure. The perks of being a school teacher is the summer time fishing!
Maybe we could link up for a week day trip during the summer. I generally go twice a week, but I'm in dry dock this week until I get some staples removed from my head Friday. Don't stand up under an open cabinet door.Quote:
