Missy tomorrow with the nephew?

Brother and I are taking the nephew to the missy tomorrow. I know the boat traffic will be bad but we go when we have time. Anyone been lately to give me any pointers. We will have stuff to fish anything crappie,bass, cats just want to get him on some fish and this will be the first time to fish the lake for us.

Buddy of mine was there today he said it was Little high and stained with lots debis floating around bite was slow for him have fun be carefull

I'm still catching crappie from the bank but the bite has not started for me until about an hour before dark when they move in shallower. I would imagine real early in the morning would be just as good. Have caught a few channel cats this week to that hit a crappie jig as well as a couple white bass. Was there last night and did pretty good with crappie from about 9-10 30 , water was up about a foot or so. There is debris floating out there so watch out for that. I have just been casting and slowly retrieving small jigs with twister tails.

Seems they have an issue with blue/green algae, I believe.
