Hello - my husband and I along with another couple are planning a mini vacation fishing trip Sun-Wed next week. We did great at Mark Twain about a month ago but wanted to check to see if the spawn is over or if it is worth going again. We have only fished this lake in November of 2013 and then in the spring.

last I heard there was still some spawning activity happening. if I had to guess, that should be winding down, though. and it's about time, I'm ready to start pulling some crank baits!
Its going to raise about 3 ft from the rain the other night. probably mud it up some and slow things down a little
Just got back from Mark Twain, fished my favorite spots from 5 AM to 10:30 AM, caught maybe 8 fish total and nothing to keep. Water temp 76 and cloudy to muddy, on the rise. Last I seen was 610.5
612.5 is crest on 6/8, 609.86 this morning at 7 am
Thanks so much for the info. Based on input decided to give kentucky lake a try. We have never fished there so a new adventure.
Planning on getting out this weekend........... might load the boat up with the COMPLETE arsenal!
