Thinking about making a night trip for crappies, just wondering if anybody has ever had any luck or am i wasting my time. Any input on this subject would be greatly appreciated

You would have a lot less people to compete against. There is some rain coming the next two days, so it might put them on a feeding frenzy tonight.
thanks chevy . i was thinking about later in the week
Mark, the only way to really find out if they're biting at night is to go out for a few hours for a few nights to see. We could all tell you yes but that may not be true where you fish. If you have the time, just go. Give us a report to let us know how you do. Cooler nights are the best for me.
All the years that I've been fishing Pymie 60+ years did I ever do any good on crappies at night. Right before dark and maybe a 1/2 after than nothing. Even fished with the lights that you drop over the side of the boat and all I could catch were eyes. Someone may have caught crappies at night but haven't much word about it for anyone.
