I have noticed that there are 2 buoys just before fisher point(right of holmes ben). Does anyone know for sure if they have made it a no ski zone????????
It looks like to me they have been put there and not just floated to there.

I sure hope so.
It doesn't matter about the buoys anyway, the "lake lice and ski boats" will ignore them. " Cranking" in Robinson Creek last year,I watched 2 different boats pulling little kids on tubes. They were running them around in about 4 to 5 feet of water with no telling how much stuff in the water. This was about a 1/4 mile past the buoy markers. I sat and prayed hoping they wouldn't fall off. Scared me to death. About the time I was going to run over to them they took off out of there. Lots of "idiots" out there !!!!!
Didn't t.slab and me see you just about get ran over last year by a wave maker?
Yes raywright, that be me. Don't think they saw me( 20 foot camo boat) HaHa. Thinking about putting neon lights on it. Probably the most annoyed I've ever been on the water, as they waved and went by -then half throttle!!!
well the no ski didnt stop people from tubing. today was a couple of boats pulling tubes
They're not likely to stop anyone, either ... unless or until the powers that be put out an announcement about that being a no ski zone ... IF, IN FACT IT IS.
If those buoys just showed up one day ... no telling who may have put them there. My 1995 Hot Spots map shows No Ski buoys just on the other side of the bridge at Green River & Casey Creek ... and at the mouth of Butler Creek ... but nowhere in between.
