5/26 -5/27 Quantico Creek (upper Potomac)
Finally got out for the first time this year. Had to spend half a day digging the boat out of the garage.
On Monday my oldest and I launched out of Leesylvania SP and headed south the Quantico. The water was in horrible condition due to all of the rain. Muddy and full of debris.
Didn't stay out long but managed to land a small channel cat and a nice 13" crappie. Tuesday I was able to sneak out of work early had went out with my oldest and youngest. The water was much improved but with the cold front and thunderstorms moving in we were only able to get a 4" white perch and small Flathead cat. Daughter drove the boat for the first time and loved it.
