never heard of that one I agree used to get annual mich license but not any more sister lives on lake mich in traverse but between gas to get there and 80 dollar license I m done with mich.
same here. I used to hit Mich a few times a year,,but no more. Evnwhen I am backpacking south,,like NC, SC, ad TN,,,just quit carrying flyrod cause of th expense of out of state licenses,,for the little time you get to wet a fly.
My aunt lives in Ligoner and I have fished a lot of the lakes around that area.Your best bet for crappie is probably Lake Wawasee.A lot of pleasure boaters through the day,but if you can fish it at night it can produce very well.
Is that the Shoe lake just west of N. Webester? If that's the right area I have friends who have been catching good crappie on Little Barbee.
Thank's Grater and Ytown. Yes Ytown that's the lake.
hogback is pretty good crappie gills bass and pike. near angola, off 20. nice camp ground there called circle b. this is the time too. sylvan lake is giving up limits of crappie now also.
what's wrong with Potato Creek?
Potato Creek is having some issues as far as Crappie fishing goes. They stopped stocking crappie fry a couple years ago and introduced wipers. That couple with people keeping 7 and 8 inch fish has pretty much ruined the lake for consistent quality crappie fishing IMO.
